Year 9 Reading Ladder

As part of the King Charles I School drive to encourage reading for pleasure and to create lifelong readers, Year 9 have been enjoying a variety of new and classic novels from the Year 9 reading ladder, as well as their own books from home and class readers with their tutors.

Most have now completed at least one reading quiz that demonstrates their knowledge and understanding of their chosen book, as well as gauging their personal response.

As you can see the number of quizzes has hugely increased in March as tutors have shared regular updates with their groups as to the students and tutor groups that are performing the best.

Congratulations to our top performing groups and individuals – keep up the good work!
