Sporting Success

Grace Brighton from Year 7 has recently competed at the British Dressage Under 21 Kent and Masters regionals at Summerhouse Equestrian. Grace competed in three tests, one as an individual which she came 2nd, qualifying for the championship. In her team event they came 10th and 3rd overall.  The team qualified for the British Dressage Kent & Masters Under 21 championships in Bury. She was placed 8th in the Under 21 section with a score of 67.48% and 11th in her team. This was a great achievement as the average age of the team was just 11 years old. Grace competed in the Nettex Native breeds British Dressage Championships. Her first class saw her score 72.50% and win the class and be crowned Native Breed Pony Champion. Grace was the youngest competitor in the class and also had the highest score. 

On day two Grace scored 67.40 % and be placed 8th in a class with 40 other competitors. 

Well done Grace!
