A selected group of students from Year 10 have been offered the amazing opportunity to be entered for the Language Leader Award Scheme. Since the start of the course in January, they have been working extremely hard preparing to teach French to younger pupils, as it is part of the requirements for the course. Students have met for an hour every Monday after school working on their linguistic skills as well as their organisation, preparation and behaviour management techniques.  They have considered their own language learning experiences and have produced activities which they have tested through teaching each other.  Students are very much looking forward to delivering these lessons to pupils in Year 7 and to Primary children at Heronswood School.  They will be teaching topics of their choice including pets, countries, clothes and ice-cream flavours.
