We have had a whole range of careers assemblies and speakers in this term to expose students to the range of professions and pathways that are open to them. From the army to a professor of genetics, health care to graphic design; students have had the opportunity to listen and seek information to enable them to make informed decisions about their own futures.

On Thursday 16th and Friday 17th March, we were visited by Tom Gough, an ex-student who followed an apprenticeship route into engineering with Aston Martin. As the car pulled into the carpark, we knew that this was going to be an exciting talk and it didn’t disappoint! Tom talked students through the range of opportunities on offer through the apprenticeship route at Aston Martin and gave them a really clear definition of what engineering actual is.

A really positive, successful role model for our students; we would like to say a big thank you for giving up his time to support us.
