On Tuesday 17th of May, 9 students in years 10/11 who study the life skills ASDAN qualification visited Hereford. In order to complete a unit they were required to visit two contrasting places within a town/city. They visited Hereford Odeon cinema where they had their own private screening of 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle' and then a tour of the projection room. They then walked through Hereford City centre to the ‘Weeping Window’ poppy display at Hereford Cathedral and the related displays inside the Cathedral. It was a great day and students gained a great deal from both experiences, entertained at the Cinema and a very thoughtful/reflective time at the Cathedral. They are now busy writing up the experience.
