King Charles is introducing a new Health and Well Being club. Health and well-being is about having a sound state of mind and body; physically, mentally and socially. Recent statistics show that only 21% of boys and 16% of girls aged 5-15 meet the guidelines of at least one hour of moderately intensive activity per day. Therefore, regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health. It improves your mood, thinking, mental health and learning.
The aim of this club is for students to broaden their horizons whilst increasing participation in physical activity across the school. Each week a different and fun physical activity to focus on Health and Well-Being, for example: Clubbercise or yoga! This club is an enjoyable way of being active with your friends whilst gaining both physical and mental benefits.
