We are always keen to evaluate our practices and so welcome regular feedback from parents/carers. We will use the feedback to help us become an outstanding school.
- On an annual basis we issue questionnaires to all parents/carers at the parents’ evening and use the results to improve the educational experience we offer our students. Thank you to all the parents/carers who took the time to complete the questionnaires during the 2014/15 academic year. The results of the 211 questionnaires completed during 2014/15 are as follows:
|Percentage of parents/carers ticking 'Strongly Agree' or 'Agree'|
|My child is happy at school.||94|
|My child feels safe at school.||96|
|My child makes good progress at school.||97|
|My child is well looked after at school.||98|
|My child is taught well at school.||99|
|My child receives appropriate homework for their age.||86|
|The school ensures students are well behaved.||94|
|The school deals effectively with any cases of bullying.||94|
|The school is well led and managed.||98|
|The school responds well to any concern I raise.||95|
|I receive valuable information from the school about my child's progress.||93|
|I would recommend this school to another parent/carer.||96|
- I will hold one ‘Parent/Carer Information Evening’ per term to enable me to update all interested parents/carers on our progress with the latest action plan and give me an opportunity to listen to your thoughts and answer any questions or concerns.
Parents/Carers can also complete the Ofsted Parent View questionnaire here. This is an on-line questionnaire that gives parents/carers the chance to tell Ofsted about their child's school. We can also see the results and they will form an important part of our self-evaluation process. Further information about Parent View can be found here.
