Year 7 Open Evening for entry in September 2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

I would like to invite you and your son/daughter to our Open Evening on Thursday 3rd October from 6.00pm until 8.00pm at our Borrington Site.

The last few years have been record breaking years at King Charles I School with some outstanding GCSE and A Level results. However, we are not complacent and are determined to give our students a school and an education which they deserve and can be proud of and will continue to improve until we reach our aim of becoming an ‘outstanding’ school. Our students only get one main chance of an education, one main chance to flourish and prepare for adult life. We strive to give our students the very best because it is what every child deserves.

The Open Evening will give you and your son/daughter the opportunity to find out what makes King Charles a good choice for your son/daughter. The correct choice of secondary school is one of the most important decisions which a parent/carer is called upon to make and we are happy to support all families in any way that we can do. We are also holding an Open Morning on Friday 4th October from 9.15am to 11.00am at the Borrington Site. This will be a great opportunity for you to see the school during a normal school day.

The full programme for the Open Evening is available to view here. Please note that there will be two opportunities to listen to my presentation at 6.00pm and 7.00pm. Copies of the programme and prospectus will be available to collect at the Open Evening.

If you have any questions with regard to this event, please do not hesitate to contact me at school. I look forward to meeting you and your son/daughter on Thursday 3rd October. I do hope that you will be able to visit us and spend time talking to the students and staff and I look forward to meeting you when you do.

Yours sincerely,

Stephen Brownlow
