On Wednesday 27th November Year 8 and 9 students and a couple of students from the Sixth Form travelled to the Cologne and had an amazing time. Students and teachers enjoyed the festive atmosphere in the Christmas markets, trying all the delicious food you can buy. Highlights included visits to Cologne cathedral, ice-skating, shopping in the Christmas markets and being in the city centre. Our students particularly enjoyed putting a lock on the bridge over the Rhine, which is the tradition. On Friday 29th November we spent the day at Phantasialand, an award-winning theme park and everyone had an amazing time. Our return journey took us through five countries and was topped off by a visit to a chocolate factory/shop in Belgium.
