Year 7 entry in September 2020

I am delighted that so many Year 6 parents/students and students have chosen to come to King Charles in September 2020. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our school community.

I will be writing to each of you individually before Easter to officially welcome you, and to give you further information about our New Intake events in the Summer term.

Over the next few months, staff from King Charles will be visiting the primary schools to discuss curriculum and pastoral issues. Experience shows that transition arrangements are crucial to helping students make a successful start to their time at King Charles I School.

We hope to hold a Year 6 to 7 transition week for students. This is currently scheduled to take place from Monday 29th June to Friday 3rd July and a New Intake Evening for parents/carers on Thursday 2nd July. Updates on whether these events can still take place and further arrangements will be sent to you nearer the time. In the meantime, if you have any questions about the transition arrangements, please contact Mr Wilkinson (head of the Borrington Site).

I look forward to meeting you on Thursday 2nd July.

Yours sincerely
Jamie Butler
